SEVEN SMALL AUTOBIOGRAPHICAL NOTES
1) I am fond of saunas, although I’ve not taken one in a long time.
2) I rank Led Zepplin’s Fool in the Rain rather highly, even now.
3) I have ridden the Cyclone, Coney Island’s rickety wooden roller coaster, twice.
4) Watermelon feta salad: chunks of watermelon, chunks of good greek feta, juice of half a lemon, lots of freshly ground black pepper. On hot summer afternoons with cold pink wine.
5) I aspire to be a polymath, but I am merely a dilettante.
6) I once found $380 on the street. In the middle of the day. At a busy intersection. Three hundreds and four twenties, just flapping around in the breeze.
7) I once had dinner in Cleveland, Ohio.
