MANGO POWER
“Uh, sir, have you read this? They’re calling us gougers. Not just us, but all record companies.”
“Fuck it, kid. They’ve been calling me a gouger since you were working in a record store. Who cares?”
“Yeah, but sir, this is Mango Pudding Blues.”
“Oh. Shit.”

I STEAL MUSIC ON THE INTERNET
And another thing; when the CD was first introduced in the early 80s, vinyl records sold here, at full price, for about ten bucks. The CD debuted at $25.99. The record companies said it was because of the high cost of production. New plants, new processes, new machines, etcetera. Okay. But surely the production costs have dropped dramatically since, and yet the list prices of new release CDs has never really changed. So the gougers gouged us for years and years. If they sold CDs at a price that didn’t include a massive and dirty profit margin, we might be more inclined to buy the damn things rather than download ’em. Right?
